It helps us to think about our choices and understand how they affect our environment - our air, water, land, climate change and greenhouse gasses, waste management and biodiversity (the variety of animals and plants).
Our futures are all determined by what each of us does. And we can all do a lot to help make a difference. Each time you make a decision to care for the environment, you have made a difference - and the more people who help, the bigger that difference will be.
